i used to do ballet. i used to do all sorts of dance actually. i started when i was 3 and kept at it until i was 17. never went competitive though. the costumes and lessons are very expensive and the amount of hours you spend in the studio are intensive. not to say i wouldn't have loved to do comp though. there was once a time when i wanted to be a dancer when i grow up. i guess i still haven't grown out of that.. but its been a few years now since i danced on stage and every time i come across a picture like this i miss it with all my heart! lyrical was probably my favorite. the grace of ballet mixed with the attitude of jazz come together to create such a passionate art form. I think i need to set a goal for myself that says the last time i danced on stage will not be the last time i dance on stage.
